After the great success of the Kreyon Days in 2016 and 2015, Kreyon project was again at Rome with the Kreyon Open Conference, a public event entirely devoted to creativity and innovation, organized in conjunction with The Education Services Art Workshop run by Palazzo delle Esposizioni, and patronized by Comune di Roma, Citt`a Metropolitana di Roma Capitale e Legambiente. The complexity of our world, the challenges of the future and the way in which creativity and innovation can help us are the the main topics of the Kreyon Open Conference, held in Rome, in Palazzo delle Esposizioni, on September the 9th, 10-22. During the day, world-renowned scientists, artists and experts shared the stage to tell how innovation works, both at the individual and collective level, in the most diverse areas of knowledge: from physics to computer science, from music to literature, from artificial intelligence to molecular cuisine. Rossella Panarese, main speaker of Radio3Scienza and Giovanni Spataro, journalist at Le Scienze will chair and moderate the discussion. Kreyon Open Conference was born as Kreyon Conference twin. Kreyon Conference had been dedicated to a scientific public, exposing and sharing ideas about innovation and creativity. Kreyon Open Conference, on the other hand, aimed at making available to the public at large the outcomes of the scientific research and at pleasing the hard-core audience that, each year, participated in the previous Kreyon Days. As in the previous editions, it was possible to take part to web games and workshops of collettive creation installations, experiencing first-hand the dynamics of creativity. As part of the Kreyon Open Conference, a special event named Kreyon City took place, where the participants had been challenged in the collective building of an ideal city with LEGO bricks.
